One of Italy’s most prestigious and historic golf clubs, set among wooded hills near Lago di Montorfano. Designed by Peter Gannon in 1926, the course winds through chestnut, birch, and stone pine woods at an altitude of 450m in the sunny Brianza. The landscape has been compared to Scotland – and this centenary course is our final-round setting.

A Brianza parkland course set in the historic grounds around Castello di Carimate, with broad fairways, old trees, rhododendrons, and a gentle hillside rhythm. It gives the week a different texture: still close to Como, but with a quieter woodland feel and a classic Lombardy club atmosphere.

The next Habit Golf Week is pencilled in for 24–28 May 2027, with Montreux as the base and a Lake Geneva course mix taking shape for edition #10.
Current thinking: Golf Club Montreux as the local anchor, Evian Resort Golf Club across the lake, and maybe Crans-Montana if the group wants a bigger alpine day. There is also a Saturday 29 May add-on under consideration: Glacier Express Excellence Class.
Twenty places we haven’t been yet – each with a walkable town centre, a proper boutique hotel, good golf within 40 minutes, and restaurants you can reach on foot. All within a day’s reach of Zürich.
